I appreciate y’all talking about this issue. It’s very important and not addressed enough. But idk what insurance bubble Nadine is in-from personal experience in the two different east coast states I’ve lived in there are many high quality mental health care professionals that do take insurance. However, not for quality in-patient treatment programs. I can relate to the feeling that being healthy and cared for is only for the elite. While there is structural truth to it, (and it’s a really crappy feeling/system in general) I can’t let myself become so disempowered that I buy into that mentality, there are many avenues for healing.

Thank you for discussing this important topic at lenght ❤ I think mental suffering of children, teens and young adults is the pandemic that resulted from the pandemic. We see the consequences in Europe too and definitely in Finland, the world's happiest country, where the suic1de rate of young people has been absolutely miserable for decades.

I just happened upon this interview with Laura Lynn Jackson and loving it. I also am a Reader & Healer and it’s so nice to hear a fellow Reader does it the same as me! I’ve been listening to you both for a year maybe now, and I feel compelled to share this story about my great grandpa. He passed when I was 15 (I’m now 33), and I’ve never tried to communicate with him since. He used to take me to the neighborhood park regularly when I was little and it’s a strong memory for me, spending that time with him. I took my boys to this park two days ago, and I cried thinking about my grandpa. So I said a prayer to him, asking him to send me a sign with a bird, I didn’t specify. I told him I love and miss him, then the day passed and I forgot. The next day - yesterday- while at the beach, I was nursing my youngest when a random white pigeon (I have never seen a white pigeon at the beach, for context, I live on beachside in nsb FL , I see seagulls, terns, willets, sandpipers, pelicans, osprey, egrets, and regular pigeons or brown birds on occasion, but this was specifically a white pigeon) walked directly over to me looking at me for a long time. I felt immediately it was him. Later I looked up, “what does it mean when I see a white pigeon?” And it says “A white pigeon symbolizes peace, love, honor, gentleness, sacrifice, communication, grace. A white pigeon or dove is believed to be a symbol of the Holy Spirit.” I feel so in awe, to know my great grandpa is with me. It brings tears to my eyes again. Thankyou for everything you share and opening up this portal for me to experience earthside💛🙏
